North American Flight Services is seeking an energetic, organized individual to join our line service team to provide essential ground support for general aviation aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Fueling: Safely dispensing Jet-A or Avgas into aircraft.
- Aircraft Handling: Towing and parking aircraft in hangars or on the ramp.
- Customer Service: Greeting crews/passengers, assisting with luggage, and servicing aircraft, often including deicing in winter.
- Safety & Maintenance: Performing, fueling quality control, and maintaining ground support equipment.
Requirements & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typical.
- Certification: A valid driver's license is required, and often a certification for handling fuel (like NATA Safety 1st).
- Skills: Strong safety mindset, good communication, ability to work outside, and familiarity with radio communication.
- Background: Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen to obtain an airport badge.
Work Environment
- Environment: Fast-paced, outdoor work on the airport ramp in all weather conditions.
- Schedule: Often involves early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
